🍫🌰 Pistachio Cream Brownies

Directions

1. Step 1: Prepare the Batter

2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

3. Grease or line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.

4. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until the mixture becomes thick, pale, and slightly fluffy.

5. Step 2: Melt the Chocolate

6. In a heatproof bowl, melt the butter and chocolate together using a double boiler (bain-marie) or microwave in short intervals.

7. Stir until completely smooth.

8. Allow the mixture to cool slightly before adding it to the egg mixture.

9. Step 3: Combine

10. Pour the cooled chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and stir until combined.

11. Sift the flour and cocoa powder over the batter.

12. Fold gently until no dry streaks remain.

13. Add the chopped walnuts and mix until evenly distributed.

14. Step 4: Bake

15. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.

16. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs attached.

17. Do not overbake—the brownies should remain fudgy in the center.

19. Allow the brownies to cool completely before slicing.

20. Top each brownie with a generous spoonful of pistachio cream before serving, or spread a thin layer over the entire batch once cooled.
